Overview
The Educational Technology Manager is responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational technology initiatives across the institution. The role ensures that digital tools, learning management systems, and emerging technologies effectively support teaching, learning, research, and administrative functions. This position acts as a bridge between academic and technical teams, guiding the integration of innovative solutions that enhance both in-classroom and online learning experiences.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Master’s Degree, Instructional Design, or related / similar field.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in educational technology management, instructional design, or academic IT leadership.Skills and Competencies
Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with academic and technical stakeholders.Knowledge of data privacy standards, accessibility compliance, and cybersecurity in education.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to emerging technologies.Strategic planning, collaboration, and capacity to influence institutional practice.Familiarity with learning analytics and inclusive digital pedagogy.Strong knowledge of instructional design models, e-learning tools, and digital pedagogy.Preferred Certifications
