Role Overview :
The Business Development Executive for Deployment and Agency Accounts will focus on expanding partnerships within the maritime and manning industries. The role involves engaging marine agencies, shipping companies, and related partners to provide tailored travel solutions for seafarers and deployment requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Background in marine travel, deployment services, or familiarity with the maritime industry is a must.
- Strong network within marine transportation or seafarer deployment agencies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Results-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Identify, develop, and manage business opportunities within the marine and deployment sector.Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping agencies, manning firms, and other maritime partners.Present and promote travel service offerings to target clients, ensuring alignment with their operational needs.Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients and partners.Collaborate with internal operations and ticketing teams to ensure efficient service delivery.Track market developments and competitor activities to support strategy refinement.Prepare regular reports and forecasts related to sales performance and account development.
