Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to recipes and menus.
Wash, peel, chop, cut, and cook food items as directed.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and workstations.
Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times (e.g., HACCP guidelines).
Assist with inventory control and notify supervisor of shortages.
Help receive and store food deliveries.
Dispose of waste properly and keep kitchen equipment clean.
Support the Head Cook / Chef in menu planning and food presentation.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
