Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Research Specialist to support our business development initiatives in the U.S. market. This role focuses on identifying potential professional partners—such as lawyers and accountants—gathering key market information, and helping coordinate initial meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong research, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to distill findings into clear, actionable insights.
Nature of Work : Primarily research and administrative support with occasional outbound communication (introductory calls / emails).
Focus : Supporting CleanFlow leadership in building a network of collaborators and ensuring operational efficiency.
Success Metrics : Quality of research reports, responsiveness in administrative support, and ability to identify relevant partners efficiently.
Responsibilities
Conduct targeted market and industry research to identify potential collaborators (lawyers, accountants, consultants, or other professionals relevant to CleanFlow’s operations).Perform due diligence on prospective partners (review services offered, pricing, previous clients, and software / tools used).Make initial outreach calls / emails to 5–8 prospects per category (e.g., lawyers, accountants) to gather baseline information.Compile research findings into clear reports or presentations (Excel, PowerPoint, or CRM) to support client decision-making.Assist in preparing for follow-up calls by documenting key insights and providing recommendations to leadership.Provide administrative and executive support including calendar management, scheduling meetings, managing email communications, and handling documentation.Ensure accurate data entry and CRM updates for all research and outreach activities.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline communications and follow-ups.Requirements
Proven experience in market research, business development support, or a related role.Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage outreach, scheduling, and follow-ups with professionalism.Proficiency in using online research tools, databases, and standard office software.Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently.Familiarity with U.S. business and professional service markets is an advantage.Independent Contractor Perks
