In the Philippines, our work centers around the prevention of online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC). We work with children who are at risk of this abuse, as well as those within their sphere of influence—parents, caregivers, teachers, social workers, law enforcement—to disrupt trauma and build resiliency.
JOB SUMMARY
The HR & Admin Officer will be responsible for managing the daily human resources and administrative operations of AGCI Philippines. This role supports recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, benefits coordination, employee relations, and compliance with labor regulations. The HR & Admin Officer will also oversee office management functions, including procurement, records management, and administrative support for the AGCI Philippines team. This position ensures smooth, compliant, and efficient operations that support AGCI’s mission and values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Human Resources :
- Support recruitment processes, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and facilitating onboarding for new hires.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws.
- Administer employee payroll and government-mandated benefits, coordinating with external providers as needed.
- Assist with employee performance review processes and monitor training and development needs.
- Facilitate internal communications related to HR policies, events, and team-building opportunities.
- Support employee relations, including grievance handling and promoting a positive work environment.
- Monitor compliance with the AGCI Philippines Employee Handbook and advise on needed updates in coordination with the Finance & HR Manager.
- Support the development and implementation of staff well-being initiatives and organizational culture efforts.
Administrative Support :
Oversee general office operations, including procurement, inventory management, and maintenance of office supplies and equipment.Ensure the organization’s physical and digital records are maintained in accordance with AGCI policies and regulatory requirements.Support logistics for meetings, trainings, and events, including travel arrangements, supplies, and venue coordination.Assist with the preparation of administrative reports and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.Maintain confidentiality and proper data control of sensitive organizational information.Provide administrative support to the AGCI Philippines leadership team as needed.General Responsibilities :
Attend and participate in staff meetings and required training courses.Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance; able to work evenings and weekends as required.Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both English and Tagalog, including writing, presentation, and listening abilities.Work collaboratively in a trust-based and relational team environment with a spirit of cooperation.Respectfully take direction from the AGCI Philippines Executive Director.Other duties, as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not supervise staff but will coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and service providers. May assist with onboarding and support for interns or volunteers as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources and office administration, preferably in a non-profit or NGO setting.Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, payroll systems, and government benefits required.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills essential.LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Fluency in English and Tagalog required.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business correspondence and reports in both languages.Ability to write clear, error-free documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, external vendors, and government agencies.COMPUTER SKILLS :
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS or payroll software preferred.Comfortable using email, internet tools, and office equipment.REASONING ABILITY
Demonstrates good judgment, confidentiality, and discretion in handling sensitive information.Able to define problems, collect data, and implement practical solutions.Skilled in time management and prioritization of tasks.WORK ENVIRONMENT

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess the necessary identification documents to reside and work in the Philippines and pass a criminal background check and child abuse clearance.
Compensation package : 45,000.00–75,000.00 PHP / month (commensurate with experience), including standard guaranteed benefits compliant with Philippine law, including but not limited to : 13th-month pay, social security (SSS), health insurance (PhilHealth), and contributions to the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG).
