Position Title : Portfolio Development Officer – Products

II. JOB SUMMARY
The Portfolio Development Officer is responsible for managing the product portfolio and innovation pipeline for retail offerings. This role oversees the full business development lifecycle—from identifying market opportunities and shaping strategic portfolios to leading product innovation, pricing strategies, and managing key client relationships.
III. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Management
Lead the strategic management of the company’s retail product portfolio, identifying emerging market opportunities.
Drive initiatives to optimize gross margins and overall profitability.
Collaborate with medical and sales teams to ensure product alignment with industry standards and market needs.
Monitor and support the achievement of monthly and annual sales forecasts for ZO products, and advise regional principals on necessary adjustments.
2. Innovation Pipeline
Conduct high-level market and industry research to identify trends, technologies, and unmet consumer needs.
Lead the evaluation and development of new business ideas and product innovations.
Enhance product communications to maintain a competitive edge.
3. Pricing and Promotions
Monitor competitor pricing and market dynamics to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Collaborate with finance and sales teams to analyze revenue performance and promotional mechanics.
Manage pricing strategies, including discounts, promotions, and special pricing agreements.
4. Customer and Partner Management
Maintain strong relationships with key vendors, distributors, and external partners.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective execution of product-related programs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
IV. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 50% focused on product management.
Capabilities :
Proven ability to execute growth strategies aligned with financial goals and customer satisfaction.
Skilled in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation to market launch—through cross-functional collaboration.
Strong client relationship management and financial acumen to monitor performance and profitability.
