Job Description for Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities :

  • Manage basic bookkeeping operations including processing receipts through HubDoc into QuickBooks
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts and financial records
  • Handle administrative tasks such as email management and organization
  • Conduct outreach activities including sourcing contacts and sending scripted emails
  • Perform data entry and research tasks as needed
  • Assist with calendar management and scheduling
  • Support project management activities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and HubDoc or similar financial software
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Experience with email management and basic outreach activities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills for non-client facing interactions
  • Comfortable working in Central Time zone hours
  • Scope :

  • Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day flexible between 7am to 4pm Central
  • Remote work arrangement with direct management and communication
  • Mix of bookkeeping (primary focus) and general administrative support
  • No direct client interaction required for sales or customer service
  • Work directly with business owner on financial processes and administrative needs

    Requirements
