About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Bookkeeping Assistant to join our remote team. This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records across multiple QuickBooks Online accounts, preparing accurate financial reports, reconciling bank transactions, and supporting operational finance tasks.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with digital tools like QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Google Drive.
Key Responsibilities :
Bookkeeping & Accounting :
Maintain and update financial records across multiple QuickBooks Online accountsUse external data sources (e.g., payment platforms, bank statements) to accurately match payments to outstanding invoicesPerform bank reconciliations and assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processesRun and review budget vs actual financial reports and flag discrepanciesReporting & Data Management :
Prepare custom financial reports and dashboards using Google Sheets, including reports on revenue, expenses, cash flow, and other operational metricsDevelop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business decision-makingOrganize, save, and manage financial and operational documents in Google Drive, ensuring a clear and accessible digital filing systemProcess & Systems Support :
Assist in maintaining consistency and accuracy in financial records and operational reportingSupport finance process improvements and documentation initiatives as neededQualifications :
At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance operationsProficient in QuickBooks Online handling multiple company accounts is a strong advantageHighly skilled in Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysisStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsFamiliarity with preparing bank reconciliations and financial reportsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlinesComfortable working independently in a remote environmentPreferred Qualifications :
Experience preparing financial KPI reportsFamiliarity with financial reporting for international businessesExperience using project management or workflow tools (e.g., Zoho CRM and Google Workspace)
